About The ACME Team

Since 1990, Spencer Ross has been in the roofing industry in the Puget Sound. Straight out of high school and ever since, Spencer has been honing his craft. He worked locally with a Tacoma company and later with a roofing supplier. While working with the supplier, Spencer became more grounded in his trade with education about roofing materials and other products.

Using his knowledge and passion for the roofing trade, Spencer and business partner, Steve Keller, founded Acme Roofing in 2005. Spencer and Steve built Acme Roofing to focus on prompt and friendly customer service. With their practical experience and knowledge, the crew at Acme Roofing serves as the leading Roofing Contractors in the Puget Sound area, and continually pursuing the highest roofing quality.

Spencer Ross | Owner

Spencer Ross is the President and Co-Founder of Acme Roofing. Spencer has been involved in all positions and areas of the roofing industry, from working as a hands-on laborer to upper management, from sales to supply. With more than 25 years of experience, he brings knowledge, passion, and leadership to Acme Roofing.

Spencer understands the importance of establishing relationships with clients and providing an excellent work environment for the Acme Roofing team. Along with Co-Founder Steve Keller, Spencer has built Acme Roofing with the goal of providing the highest quality roofing services to the the Puget Sound.

Steve Keller | Co-Owner

Steve Keller is the Vice President and Co-Founder of Acme Roofing. Steve continues a long and dedicated legacy of working in the roofing industry, passed down to him by his father and grandfather before him. With more than 35 years of experience, Steve has worked in all areas of roofing and understands the business inside and out.

Along with Co-Founder Spencer Ross, Steve ensures that Acme Roofing provides the highest level of professional service and quality products for homes throughout the Puget Sound. He believes in treating each roof as it were his own, putting in the necessary care and attention for all projects and never cutting any corners.

Jay Clement | Residential Roof Advisor

Jay Clement has been in the roofing industry since 1990. After several years on the roof, installing materials from Asphalt shingles to Cedar Shake and Shingle and Commercial low slope applications, Jay had the opportunity to transition into the office and then ultimately out onto the roof again as a residential roofing estimator and sales manager — a position he has enjoyed for the past 17 years.

Along the way, Jay has made sure to keep up with industry changes and new code requirements. He has an extensive background and education on ventilation properties and efficiency for maximizing the longevity of a new roof and its substructure. Jay’s background brings perspective and valuable insight when he provides customers with the many options and products the roofing industry has to offer. Investment in a new roof is a big decision and every roof project is unique in some way.

Jay’s approach is one of listening and respecting the needs of his customers, without the high-pressure tactics. His knowledge and experience will reflect when he meets with you to discuss and plan for the installation of your new roof.

Tim Hagen | Production Manager

Tim Hagen is the Field Supervisor at Acme Roofing. His role involves overseeing roofing projects, meeting with clients, and making sure operations are running smoothly. Tim has more than 28 years of roofing experience. His experience in construction and roofing has developed from a lifetime of hands-on hard work. Tim was born and raised on a dairy farm and spent time in the Army. He believes that knowledge, know how and customer service is some of the ways that helps him to establish the trust that people look for.
